After the epic 3rd Birthday super show in February Digital Society returns to O2 Academy Leeds, and this time with the UK's no1 Trance label Anjunabeats. Headlining this May bank holiday special are none other than label heads and global superstars ABOVE & BEYOND (#4 DJ Mag Top100 2009). Being responsible for some of the biggest tracks in Trance history, the recent success of 'Anjunabeats vol 7', and hosting one of the most listened to radioshows on the airwaves - Trance around the World - Above & Beyond are one of the definitive acts in todays world dance music scene.

Supporting Above & Beyond on the night is a massive programme including UK artist Progressive Trance legend ANDY MOOR (#15), the launch of 'Anjunabeats Worldwide vol 2' with Finnish superstar producers SUPER8 & TAB (#82) and the talented MAT ZO (#150), Anjunadeep's SOLARITY, and DS residents UK star ACTIVA and Enhanced boss WILL HOLLAND. DS Invitation once again hosts Room2 underground with a selection of the finest up & coming Trance talent in the UK.

Over 1500 clubbers witnessed the awe-inspiring production as Leeds embraced the debut DS O2 event, and this bank holiday the Anjunabeats showcase is set to go to yet another level. VJ Steve G is back at the helm of proceedings and with the stunning sound & lighting the venue has to offer and enough pyros to illuminate the Yorkshire skyline - Digital Society and the O2 Academy hosts a fitting stage for Trance maestros and headline act Above & Beyond, making this the must-do Bank Holiday event this May.

Mixmag’s Trance Club Of The Year 2009, Digital Society launched in February 2007 as a forward-thinking monthly dance event, and since then has evolved into one of the UK's leading Trance brands. Awe-inspiring O2 Academy spectaculars, and sell-out crowds at Leeds most intimate venue Stinkys Peephouse (fka MyHouse), with blockbusting lineups blending the biggest stars in Trance & Progressive with the finest emerging Producer DJs - Quality programming has become very much the DS signature.
